In Kothe (or Mud Hut), we integrate vernacular architecture with modern techniques to create a unique blend of eco friendly dwelling experience with health benefits, modern comforts and traditional nomadic feel!
Kothe is a traditional nomadic hut like dwelling constructed mainly using stones and mud with concrete and iron reinforced rings in between to add strength to the structure. the walls are finished with mud plaster and the roof has options of wooden tiles, thatch or tin sheets.

- natural insulation – kothe is naturally warmer in winters & cooler in summers.
- soundproof – thick mud plastered walls are also good sound absorbers.
- much safer in case of earthquakes and fire.

Materials Used
It is a blend of our faith in and our appreciation for nature, and mud, rocks, rice husk, paddy grass, wood, custom size door and windows with glass and iron mesh, tarpaulin / tin sheets, concrete and iron for reinforcement, paint and electrical items as needed.

Pyend is a Kashmiri for Gazebo – a perfect space to enjoy the view or the company in outdoors with strong sunshine or rain, without worrying for it bothering you.
Pyend is a raised platform of stones and earth, surrounded by wooden poles erected to hold the roof which can be finished with wooden tiles, thatch or tin sheets.

Souan Eco Toilet (or the Dry Compost Toilet) is a natural, hygienic and cost effective way of processing human waste. it is a modified for hygiene traditional toilet, which uses a drum to store the solid waste, and can also have a urine
separation facility. It has a dry and a wet version.
It is an environment friendly sustainable sanitation system which renders human waste as a resource for agricultural purposes.
